The project provides model-driven tools for the various stakeholders around the SeRoNet Mediation Platform. These support providers and users of components in all development, selection and implementation steps.
The link between providers and users of components is formed by the "digital data sheet", which describes properties of components for selection. It is part of the model-driven tooling and forms a central core of the distributed work-based workflow. It helps locate and select those components that have the features you want for your application.
The tooling supports the various roles in the SeRoNet workflow to exchange SeRoNet-compliant components via the mediation platform. These components can be assembled flexibly without additional development effort thanks to a composition-oriented approach. SeRoNet builds the bridge between service robotics and Industrie 4.0 through standardized OPC UA services.
